THE LEADERSHIP TRAINING SERIES
SIX WEEKS TO INCREASED EFFECTIVENESS

This is a four
hour program and the first of a series in six training programs
that will make your leaders much more effective in their dealings
with employees.
Additional Training Programs
Sexual and Other Illegal Harassment
In 1998, the Supreme Court ruled that the best defense against charges
of harassment is a good offense. Participants will learn how to
develop a policy, communicate the policy and ways to deal with complaints
of harassment and discrimination.
Customer Service and Telephone Techniques That
Work
With this proven method of training, employees will be better equipped
to provide world class service to your customers. Participants come
away with an increased awareness of the importance of their job,
tools to deal with difficult customers and an enhanced understanding
of the importance of teamwork to achieve unparalleled business success.
Managing Stress
In today’s work environment, stress is inevitable. A measure
of a person’s success on the job is often measured by the
way they deal with stress. This four hour program helps the employees
see where their sources of stress are, the consequences stress has
on their mental and physical well being and ways to minimize the
impact stress has on their daily lives.
Performance Management and Appraisals
Performance appraisals are probably the most stressful thing managers
encounter. Learn techniques to reduce the stress level, enhance
the communication process with subordinates and enhance future performance
levels of subordinates.
Complying with the Family and Medical Leave Act
The Family and Medical Leave Act is probably the most complicated
piece of employment legislation passed by our legislature. Know
your rights, responsibilities and those of your employees.
Complying with the Wage and Hour Laws
More and more lawsuits are being filed for violations of the Fair
Labor Standards Act. Learn how to determine exempt from non-exempt,
and the different ways to calculate overtime. Keep your organization
safe from Wage and Hour audits.
Programs
such as Change Management, Planning and Conducting Productive Meetings,
and Time Management are also available.
If you do not see what you need, it will be developed for you.
TESTIMONIALS
“I have attended a number
of supervisory training courses during my career. In attending the
course conducted by Bob McKenzie, I was pleasantly surprised. This
course was excellent! It was not only informative, but very interactive
using “real world” hands on situations and experiences.
Bob’s presentation created a relaxed comfortable learning
environment.
I continue to employ the lessons I learned from him and
often access the reference materials. I highly recommend any training
conducted by Bob McKenzie for managers and supervisors.”
